I love how this thread refuses to point out that the same study says that a third of us older people think the same thing about bar soap. (Why don’t *they* know better?)
We need to stop playing this ‘us against them’ generational crap. We’re all Americans and this generation of 20-mid30 year olds have been physically fighting for us for 15 years. Many of these ‘kids’ have fought in the last two wars. Too many of them gave their limbs and faces for the effort. We’ve got Millennial First and Drill Sergeants today. The ones in their 30’s are the ‘old guys’. Millennials took the hit in Faluja both times and won. It’s Millennials and GenXers who won two wars for this nation. They’re our veterans now.
Older people have b*tched about the ‘younger generation’ since the time of the Greeks. That is nothing new. And, in 20 years, today’s young people will be doing the b*tching.
The kids have grown up. They aren’t teenagers anymore.
BTW, I’ve been around long enough to remember the grumbling about the ‘lazy, selfish’ Genxers. What happened to that?
Oh, that’s right. We’re now grandparents and facing retirement.
Thanks, what a brain storm to turn the water into ice first!
Well, my ex used to call my place “Little House on the Prairie” to make the kids laugh.
If you subscribe to the idea that men use fragrance to attract women, you're on to something.
Several years ago, some men's mag did a blind smell-test among women to see which fragrance they liked best. The old time brands like Old Spice won in a runaway.
Women were attracted to the aftershaves their fathers wore. Prissy designer fragrances were far down on the list.
I easily found a 12 oz bottle of Suave bath soap for $1.88. Bar soap runs around 5 cents an ounce more.
It’s personal preference but you can find affordable liquid soap if that’s what you prefer.
