Thousands of 49ers fanatics incinerated Kaepernick on Twitter with some even lighting up his number 7 jersey following his decision to sit down during the national anthem at Friday nights preseason game.

I hope they do. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you.
Anyway, whatever apology he issues won't be worth the paper it is written on.
Wonder what his adoptive father and mother think about the issue
I imagine they are quite disappointed in his judgment and lack of maturity. These star players live in a bubble and a fair number of them drink the kool-aid. With the way he has played recently it is doubtful he will be in the league much longer.
He’s worked hard through last winter and spring to make it in the Combine.....
Picked up by the Jets....
Great kid! Was initially an exchange student from Kenya..... Played on their national rugby team.... Never saw an American football...... But the coaches at WCU saw his size and speed .....
He’s living the American Dream!
I will root for him!
Colon, you stupid ungrateful git. In what other country could you earn millions running around with a pigskin ball? This ingrate should be cut from the team and made to find a real job. In someplace like North Korea.
oh boy. Well, glad to see you on the board and hope you are well.
I remember WWII vets being in their 60s. Hard to realize that’s not the case anymore. .
I guess cause the vietnam vets were so young still when I was a teen.
Time goes fast.
The NFL has completely lost me. This is just one last reason I will not patronize any NFL product and thus not allow myself be an enabler of this behavior or any of the other garbage behavior that is allowed to flourish in NFL.
Absolutely no interest myself, but if it, and James helps, all the luck then.
Worse now. They’re not just giving the Beast a pass, they’re carrying her on their shoulders.
While that is controversial, one thing LeBron has done is the fact you see him very active in charity activities in the Akron/Cleveland area. Kaepernick? Surely you jest....
He’s very religious as well.... Goes to church a couple of times a week....
Good!!
I have no problem with someone saying the pledge and leaving out “under God” because saying it conflicts with their personal religion.
I don’t even have a problem with a U.S. citizen protesting U.S. policy by refusing to say the pledge, as long as they’re prepared to suffer the consequences.
But one of the consequences of outright refusal to take the pledge, in obvious protest, should be to lose your right to be employed in the NFL.
Similarly, any employer faced with an employee who is a U.S. citizen who refuses to pledge allegiance to the country should also be able to fire that employee on the spot. Ditto for flag burners.
Find another way to protest or suffer the consequences. Work to make the country better instead of encouraging others to stand against your country, which is exactly what Kaepernick is doing by refusing to take the pledge.
What does a teacher do if a 7-year-old refuses to say the pledge in school now, if he says “Well, Kaepernick does it.”? That teacher should be able to say, yes, and Mr. Kaepernick suffered the consequences of his decision, as will you when you get to the principal’s office.
In short, from the NFL’s viewpoint, this should not be simply an optional, personal, decision. The NFL needs to stand with the country on this one, or suffer the consequences.
This POS signed a fat contract paying him more than 100 real men make per year.
He is about to get cut and the 9er’s will have to pay him to just go away.
Unless he was IN the jersey, it was nothing but a lot of hot air.
Maybe there's something to the old one-drop theory?
Look at some of the inane utterances some other "celebrities" have made, yet they're still selling tickets and making millions.
Never underestimate the short memories -- or the stupidity -- of the public.
Simply another one of Lenin’s useful idiots. MSM is to blame. Unless they do research or have some critical thinking, it’s easy to fall into the trap.
If the MSM came down on HRC the way they nitpick Trump, HRC would be polling at 15% and there would be no DNC.
Who is he going to get endorsement gigs from? Halal bakeries? Mortuaries?
Kap is half white half black-—just like the faker in the White House.
Seems Kap converted to Muslim this summer & now is dating a BLM supporter.
He sure has not respected the family that adopted him.....
