Beginning to look like someone was looking for a big payday. You would think they would have kept the evidence.
I’m assuming McDonalds burgers arrive at the store as frozen hockey pucks, and don’t get thawed until they hit the griddle.
So the only opportunity for worm infestation would be at the supplier...and it seems more than one restaurant would have the worms.
I once opened a can of coke and took a swig, thought "hmm this tasts off" and took a second taste and an entire whole cockroach washed into my mouth. Sealed in the can. I spit it out and called coke, they offered me a free case of coke.
I'm not the suing kind and I wasn't actually harmed (being grossed out doesn't count) so I didn't try to extort a payday out of them. Maybe I'm just naive and should have played "the game". In my case at least it was real.
