NFL’s Kaepernick says he’s standing up for the oppressed by sitting during anthem

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Colin Kaepernick did not stand during the national anthem Friday because he refused to “show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color,” he told the NFL Network’s Steve Wyche after the game.

“To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way,” Kaepernick said. “There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.”

The San Francisco 49ers quarterback has been outspoken on his Twitter and Instagram account about racial issues, including the Black Lives Matter movement, over the last eight months. His most recent retweet on Friday was of a New York Daily News story about Arizona teens who were told to remove Black Lives Matter shirts. The movement began in 2013 to protest violence against black Americans, especially at the hands of law enforcement....

What a pathetic windbag this whiney and unthankful brat has become. He has been radicalized to some degree by the constant drumbeat of the left who also hates this country. That is no excuse for being a tool.

He should have been so lucky to have his athletic talent put to better use maybe hacking at the ground with a makeshift, low tech, wooden plow just to scratch out a living in a country more to his taste.

Envy and ungratefulness is pressed into this type of complainer and since he does not have the mind or the character to resist such relative falsehoods (since he prefers the blame and envy game) he finds it convenient to point fingers and pretend he has a 'point'.

Colin, point the finger at yourself, or stay on the road of envy and strife and hope the press anoints you with oil and declares you one of them, the good (wink) guys. Maybe they will give you the nobel prize for uh...hating the greatest country that has existed...ever.

Every individual in this country has the right to express their opinion...HOWEVER, he is not just an individual, he is a representative of an organization and thus should be held accountable for his actions. For a black man, making $30,000,000 per year to complain that blacks are oppressed is ludicrous.

If the NFL does not punish him, my family will not watch any games this year.

Actions have consequences.

I remember that song. Jackie Gleason had Foster perform it on one of his shows. Or maybe it was Gleason and Carney covering it.

Sure he is...

The tried-and-true fallback plan when your anti-American ways have been exposed - say your making a statement about something politically correct.

Then the media will leave you alone, and anyone who questions you will be silenced.

Anyone who has anything to do with watching this man play football or advocates, endorses, etc. him is complicit with him in treason. The fact that this man has not been driven completely from sports and marginalized for this behavior is unbelievable. Try this sort of thing in Mexico. Americans are so stupid. They are going to cause the very downfall of their own nation for not acting.

During the off-season Colin Kaepernick converted to Islam.

This is more proof that we ARE at war with islam. The ONLY reason this is allowed to continue is because the government has been subverted through all levels with adherents to islam. And, because of the irreligious practice of many Americans, this will lead to the downfall of the U.S. - We need an awakening, revival and repentance. Now.

Of course they do....for him....to ignore he NFL because of the actions of 1 person is childish, at best.
