Republican Congressman Pushes Internet Sales Tax Plan
The Wall Street Journal ^ | August 26, 2016 | Richard Rubin

A new Republican proposal [by Rep. Bob Goodlatte (RINO, VA)] to resolve the long-running fight over taxing internet sales across state lines drew praise from Amazon.com Inc. and House Speaker Paul Ryan.

“I am shocked Republicans would propose an internet sales tax,” said Sen. Ron Wyden (D., Ore.) “This proposal would create a logistical nightmare for states like Oregon that don’t have or want sales taxes. I will continue to oppose any efforts to impose a national sales tax scheme on Oregonians.”

Michael Needham, the chief executive officer of Heritage Action for America said, “the Republican-controlled Congress would be wise to turn its attention to creating opportunity for everyone, not doling out favors to well-connected businesses and revenue-hungry state governments.”

Paul Ryan is praising the Republican proposed internet tax opposed by even some Democrats. RINOs are working hard to lose seats in congress. Is there any hope?

RINO = a Democrat that lies about what his party affiliation really is.

Taxes, taxes, taxes.

Isn’t Obamaland great?

We have voterless elections.
We have jobless economic recoveries.
We have award winning TV shows and movies no one watches.

And two political parties but only one way of doing anything. :)

And there is why Hellary's talking points about GOP big gov resonates, although her connections don't. Way to kick yourself in the arse, GOPe. Must have favors and party play, because your principles went away back when dog-catcher foreman.

Sheesh, a number of people used to ask me to run for local city council after leaving Navy and owning (3) businesses. I told them that my Military earned values were not for sale.

An Oath is Forever

Ryan needs to be kicked out of the Speaker position. We need to put pressure on our Representatives to defeat him. Ryan is a true and dangerous Enemy of the People.

Paul Ryan is in “forever”, if he couldn’t be taken out this year. The creep is nothing if not a Democrat, and a lefty UniParty plug, at best.

He is very dangerous and is already running hard for ‘20, clearly.

How to kill small businesses on the internet...?

Tax it!! Most internet businesses are 1 or two people and most don't know what the sales tax is for X (and if the local has a sales tax rate), so you'll have to hire an accountant..

If that STUPID LAW gets passed, Ebusiness will only have Ebay and Amazon, but not any small business...

The internet tax is a good idea. Consumption taxes are the best!

How to do it politically I’ve no idea though.
So there will be increased income, business and property taxes- hurray, right?

How about we cut them loose and spend our own money?

I saw the announcement of the new taxes. He was there with, was it Tip? He said the Demcongress had agreed that every new tax dollar raised would be used to reduce the “daffysit.” Tip was smiling and nodding like a bobblehead in agreement. The Dems then spent $1.84 of every dollar raised.
