Laura Ingraham may play Clinton in Trump debate practice: report

Conservative radio host Laura Ingraham may play the role of Hillary Clinton in Donald Trump’s prerpation for the upcoming presidential debates, according to the Washington Post.

Trump is meeting with Ingraham, former Fox News Channel chairman Roger Ailes, and former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani to talk over possible debate preparation strategies, the Post reported.

Some top officials within the campaign have hinted at an unconventional debate prep strategy.

“He’s an unconventional candidate, so debate prep in the classic sense doesn’t apply to him,” campaign manager Kellyanne Conway told the Post.

“That applies to the accoutrements that are usually associated with getting ready for debates: contrived gestures, lecterns, a group of consultants in belted khakis holed up in a cabin, the Socratic method of peppering questions. That’s not him,” she added.

“Donald Trump is the unpredictable X-factor and Hillary Clinton is the scripted statist. I fully understand why Team Clinton feels the need to drown her in briefing books and Hollywood consulting.”

Giuliani said Trump will simply try to be himself during the debates, and avoid the risk of being someone he is not.

“You’re going to see a very natural and normal guy — someone who is comfortable with who he is, not someone who’s highly scripted or nervous,” he said.

Clinton spokesman Brian Fallon told the Post that the Democratic presidential nominee is preparing for Trump’s unpredictability.

“I think [Clinton] will approach the debate with a great deal of seriousness and a sense of purpose, and also keenly aware that Donald Trump is capable of anything,” he said.

The first debate will take place in Hofstra University outside New York City on Sept. 26.

I believe you have a serious wrong number on Laura Ingraham.

I lived in Connecticut until 2000 and practiced law there and represented a number of people from her home town of Glastonbury (hometown of Lincoln's Navy Secretary Gideon Welles). Atypical of generally Catholic Connecticut, Glastonbury is a town with a very strong element of Congregationalists, Unitarians and other somewhat affluent and liberal folks of similar persuasions.

When Laura Ingraham was a star student at Glastonbury High School, everyone of whatever persuasion from Glastonbury was raving about this extraordinary, principled and courageous young woman. I regret to say that I never had the opportunity to meet her.

Upon graduation from Glastonbury High, she moved on to Dartmouth College, an extraordinarily leftist school even for the Ivy League, apparently intent on battering down Dartmouth's leftist ideological barricades. She immediately upon arrival joined up with the Dartmouth Review which had included Dinesh D'Souza among its writers and a publication that enjoyed strong support from the late William F. Buckley, Jr.

She graduated, then attended University of Virginia Law School, worked as a clerk to very conservative Judge Ralph Winter at the Second Circuit U. S. Court of Appeals, then clerked for Justice Clarence Thomas at SCOTUS, practiced law with a major firm, then established a career as a columnist, speaker, TV commentator, author of political books and radio talk show host.

Maybe you know something I have missed but I have never heard of any lies, deceit or or pseudo-reporting on her part. I know Judge Winter well enough to know that he would not tolerate any such thing.

In fact, having originally been a Congregationalist, she later converted to Roman Catholicism. She had been engaged to marry one James Reyes, a businessman, but she was discovered to have a cancer requiring treatments inconsistent with the advisability of bearing children. She released Reyes of any obligation of their engagement and thereafter remained single but adopted three children.

She seems to be a woman of very high character and achievement. What do you know that I have missed?

She would also have to kneel at the microphone to approximate the Medus’s shorter stature, obtain a Hillary Halloween mask to approximate Hillary’s ugliness, get large pillows to stuff under her clothing to mimic Hillary’s girth, imitate the walk of an NFL defensive lineman to approximate Hillary’s “femininity,” obtain her own “Crusty the Pantsuit” to approximate Hillary’s sartorial splendor and learn from a neurosurgeon to imitate Hillary’s speech gaps, inability to walk without assistance and other symptoms.

..... Agreed .... Will have a lot of popcorn and beer ready for the debates .... She and her quasi husband have always surrounded themselves with Sycophants and have not had to face a single person within their circles who had the wherewithal to survive any accusations. Anybody who had the balls have already assumed room temperature.

.... They and their Sycophantic circle are finding out that Trump has his own circle of protection ... and is certainly willing to sling her deep dark secret past into the light for all to see. Baiting the media to crawl out from the rocks they have been dwelling under to check out the factual accusations.

.... They are concerned to say the least. Documents are already disappearing that would serve as proof. Such as the Vince Foster files which disappeared this week. Currently the George Soros emails are starting to be scrubbed from the investigative universe. Curious isn't it?
