Conservative radio host Laura Ingraham may play the role of Hillary Clinton in Donald Trump’s prerpation for the upcoming presidential debates, according to the Washington Post.
Trump is meeting with Ingraham, former Fox News Channel chairman Roger Ailes, and former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani to talk over possible debate preparation strategies, the Post reported.
Some top officials within the campaign have hinted at an unconventional debate prep strategy.
“He’s an unconventional candidate, so debate prep in the classic sense doesn’t apply to him,” campaign manager Kellyanne Conway told the Post.
“That applies to the accoutrements that are usually associated with getting ready for debates: contrived gestures, lecterns, a group of consultants in belted khakis holed up in a cabin, the Socratic method of peppering questions. That’s not him,” she added.
“Donald Trump is the unpredictable X-factor and Hillary Clinton is the scripted statist. I fully understand why Team Clinton feels the need to drown her in briefing books and Hollywood consulting.”
Giuliani said Trump will simply try to be himself during the debates, and avoid the risk of being someone he is not.
“You’re going to see a very natural and normal guy — someone who is comfortable with who he is, not someone who’s highly scripted or nervous,” he said.
“The real risk is when a guy tries to be something other than what he is.”
Clinton spokesman Brian Fallon told the Post that the Democratic presidential nominee is preparing for Trump’s unpredictability.
“I think [Clinton] will approach the debate with a great deal of seriousness and a sense of purpose, and also keenly aware that Donald Trump is capable of anything,” he said.
The first debate will take place in Hofstra University outside New York City on Sept. 26.

You must be confused. Laura has been one of the few who didn't turn on Trump. Any perceived anti-Trump remarks by her, since the very beginning last summer, have been stated in such a way that was helpful advice, not a mindless bitching like the NeverTrumpers and TepidTrumpers like Rush.
I've listened to her off and on for years, and I don't know what you're talking about. Care to elaborate? Maybe i missed something. Btw, she's a FReeper but i forgot her screen name. She was here eons ago.

I have come.to really likeLaura’s radio show, one thing is she can stop reading the phone number every 5 minutes. She is good, has great guests and has a good sense of humor. She also takes no prisoners...
For Laura to be anything like HRC, every meal is to be eaten at Golden Corral, her outfits are to be made from curtains, and she needs to spend at least a month having everything done for her. That way she will have an entitlement mentality

Laura will need a whole make-up department and lots of padding around her hips to begin to resemble the Wicked Witch from the North. She will have to learn how to make her voice sound like fingernails scraping a blackboard. She will have to learn how to act like a wounded old animal attacked by those racist, Bible-thimping, extreme White conservatives just because of her genetalia. She will have to perform an abortion on stage while spitting on her Secret Service detail to prove how strong she is. And in order to prove she gets things done, she will have to practice texting for more suitcases bulging with cash donations....and learn how to tell voters that voting for the first @sshole to be President is a good idea!!!
.... On the other hand .... The Pantsuit knows squat about Trump and thinks talking points will get her through the debates. The only problem with that is .... We all should know every single Liberal talking point by now ... Ingram has them memorized to the point that she could probably quote every one of them post-mortem.
