They need to. I totally disagree with the milk toast country club approach of the GOPe, to ‘rise above it all’ and let the left smear you. It doesn't work, particularly when the media is on the other side and can't be relied upon to set the record straight. What works is that when the other side slings mud at you, you pull them down into the mud and you make sure they wear prominently all the mud they own.
The bottom line is that this election is the hard working, regular patriotic American people versus the Clinton/political establishment/media...

I agree with you that he would be a fierce communicator and also agree that he’s on radio silence. No articles, no posts, no tweets, no statements, nothing. I believe knowing him over the radio that the Hillary is a Bigot thing is all his, and a good one at that. He probably knows more about what makes lefty’s tick than all of us put together. Be interesting to see the new attacks these next 70 days. GOPe types will be scratching their heads saying why didn’t we ever think of that LOL.

Agree that you can see Bannon’s hand (and Conway’s as well) in transformation of Trump over last 2 weeks. But for someone who had a pretty decent size radio audience to be put on complete media silence still remains curious...
