Michael T. Flynn (born between November 29, 1958 and May 24, 1959)[2][3] is a retired United States Army lieutenant general[4][5] who served as the director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, commander of the Joint Functional Component Command for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance, and chair of the Military Intelligence Board from July 24, 2012, to August 2, 2014.[6] Prior to that, he served as Assistant Director of National Intelligence. He consistently pushed for greater information and intelligence sharing and was a leading figure in coalition and special operations intelligence operations. Flynn co-authored a report in January 2010 through the Center for a New American Security entitled Fixing Intel: A Blueprint for Making Intelligence Relevant in Afghanistan,[7] which criticized the intelligence community for lacking an understanding of the human-socio context of the battlefield in Afghanistan.

Yet he goes public looking to get others to go fight?

How does anyone, even a pencil pusher, get to O9 without knowing some snipers he can count on?

Moreover, the former DIA chief [Michael Flynn] said that the Shiite Lebanese narco-terrorist group Hezbollah, an Iranian proxy, is illegally trafficking humans, drugs, and other contraband into the United States.

US support for Iranian-backed Shiite militias ‘should not alarm us,’ General Allen says

In an interview with CBS News, General (retired) John Allen, the Special Presidential Envoy for the Global Coalition To Counter ISIL, or the Islamic State, attempted to assure Americans that they should not be concerned with the US providing military and other support for Shiite militias, many of which are backed by Iran. Allen attempts to separate the “extremist elements” from the Popular Mobilization Force (or Committee), when the distinction is practically meaningless. From the interview, which was published on the US State Department’s website (emphasis is mine): With regard to militias, it’s really important to understand that the militias...
