The Enquirer ran a few “Michael Jackson like” stories of people accusing Neil of gross misconduct. The news came out, and it just sort of faded away. Most people didn’t care at that point. He was already part of Rock and Roll history.
That rag will print anything to sell a copy, the more outrageous, the better.
