I find it humorous that the lefists consider the SPLC to be a bonafide source of information, but any other question you ask them about the South/Southerners gets an answer that begins with, “Well, they’re all a bunch of GOP redneck hillbillies who support...”

I will forever be contrite in knowing that in well-meaning naivete I used to donate to the Southern Poverty Law Center. I even came across an old membership card recently.
My Free Republic name explains my coming to know and understand the real who and what of the SPLC and the hundreds of other allied 501C3 groups pushing the same Marxist/Communist, Islamist-whitewash agenda and the non-501Cs with that agenda operating in the midst of academe, government, and many professions.
