I don’t know about all that crap but what I do know is that 50 years or so ago the men in society had this big growing up exercise called the US Military to look forward to. Funny how a DI could get to the root of a problem quickly. Granted that not everyone got the call or went on their own but the numbers were sufficient to grow up a lot of boys into men quickly.
I am not advocating to a return to a draft based military because we could never afford it now given the peon wages that were paid in those days. I am making a distinction between life and death matters then to what I classify as basically pansy issues today like I need a sex operation or someone called me a bad name.
