‘Yahoo’ is the worst. They’re like AOL. They’re nothing. There is nothing high class about them. If they have high class content, they got it from somewhere else. What the heck is a ‘Yahoo’? It’s an idiot, right? A country (usually) idiot. It bothers me just to have to type the word, and I do sometimes to check my web mail.

I have AT&T so if I have to check my mail through the browser, I have to go there.
“Smoke” can kill you just as dead as fire can. Fires usually start with smoke. Clintoon needs to get out in the woods with the unwashed masses a little more.

You have to use Yahoo but can skip the Yahoo trash. How? (I'm using Firefox. Other browsers will differ.) Get into your email where it shows your Inbox listing all your recent emails. Copy the URL at the top of the page. Go to your bookmarks, right click on the link you use to get to your email. Then click on properties and paste the link you just copied into 'Location.' Click on 'save.'
This jumps around the Yahoo site. Now, you will be faced with ATT ads such as the Yahoo doofus in the image below or other things you don't want to see. If you do the 'log in for two weeks' procedure, that will skip the ads. I do that procedure before the two weeks are up.

Had Uverse for a couple years but we never watched TV so we got rid of it. Just have internet now. When we first got it, the installer ran the wiring in a bizarre path. We had a lot of trouble with our internet running very slow at times.
Whenever I called, I got the weirdest people with the strangest cadence in their voice. They said "hmm" and "I see" at lot, too. They taught me how to reboot my computer and how to do a cold start. EVERY time I called. The calls lasted forever and all ended in, "We need to send a tech out." No kidding.
They eventually sent out a tech who couldn't figure it out. New tech said one of the data pairs was faulty and rearranged the hookup. That worked for a while and then it went bad. New tech switched to yet another pair. Last tech trace the wire and found TWO places where the first guy had driven staples through the cable. Water got into them. He ripped out a mile of cable and replace it with a much shorter run. It's been fine since then.
