Australia Police: No Extremist Motive Found in Hostel Attack

Australian police were investigating whether a French man accused of fatally stabbing a British woman while shouting the Arabic phrase "Allahu akbar" had a romantic obsession with her, an official said Thursday.

Police in Queensland state said there was no indication the attack at a northeast Australian hostel was motivated by extremism. But they are looking into whether the suspect, 29-year-old Smail Ayad, had been rejected by 21-year-old Mia Ayliffe-Chung before police say he stabbed her to death on Tuesday, Queensland Police Detective Superintendent Ray Rohweder said.

"That is one of the lines of inquiry that we are conducting. There is certainly, at this stage, no indication that — certainly from Mia's point of view — that there was any sort of romantic connection," Rohweder told reporters.

Though police said Ayad shouted "Allahu akbar" — the Arabic phrase meaning "God is great" — both during the attack and while being arrested, there was no evidence he had been motivated by any extremist ideology, Rohweder said.

"There is absolutely no indication of any form of radicalization or any political motive in this matter," he said.

Actually, I think if we are careful we can construct the likely motive here....

He yelled something that translates to: "God is Great". Which means he was religious. The biggest religious belief in the world is Christianity, which means he was likely Christian. Since he was a French citizen and traveling to Australia, that makes him a foreign tourist to Australia. Since most such tourists are American, that makes him probably an American. So as a likely Christian American who thinks God is Great, he is more likely to be a Republican than a Democrat. And since most Republicans are supporting Trump, that likely means he is a Trump supporter. And since Trump supporters are enthusiastic for him, that likely means he was animated by his support of Trump.

So the motive I think we need to take away is that Trump is driving people to violence.

</sarcasm>

Here is a link to another article on the subject, with pictures. Of course, it is a Brit paper so they don't clean the story up for the Muzzie quite as much. It also mentions the poor guy who tried to save her was stabbed 15 times in the face and is in critical condition.

British backpacker, 21, stabbed to death by French knifeman shouting 'Allahu Akbar' (Australia)...

Such a mystery...

the Arabic phrase meaning “God is great” ***************************** No, it doesn’t. It means Allah is greatest Islam is about supremacy -------------------------------------------------------- I had thought it was the comparative form rather than the superlative: Allah is greater ! That is why I now say: allahu aqall! [allah is lesser!] (Note the deliberate use of lower case in the name of the false god.)

Notice how practitioners of the religion of pieces never shout this as they are helping little old ladies cross the street?

“’There is absolutely no indication of any form of radicalization or any political motive in this matter,’ he said.”

I am so relieved!

That means that every time a homicidal or genocidal male shouts “allahu akbar!” while committing an act of violence, it is a guarantee that he is not - absolutely not - an extremist; after all, you can’t improve on “absolutely no indication”!

Whew! The world is suddenly a safer place.

Yes - you’re right. Very few get it that Allah is not God! Allah is for Muslim; For everybody else, it is God.
