The media will do whatever is necessary for her. They will cover for her if she doesnt debate. The talking poins is that Trump is such a laugh its not worth dignifying him with debates.
Its the way they are going to go, and frankly, none of us have seen anything yet. It will get much much worse. They will have newscasts calling Trump supporters racists. This will be normal reporting, not editorial.

Of course she wont debate Trump, she knows SHE CANT WIN, even though all of the questions will be given to her in advance..she will just come out and say that she cant be in the same room with racist Trump and the media will fawn all over her and say she won

So he pardons her on what counts? And what has that got to do with the debates?
Trump should not have to buy media time. The media that scheduled the debate that Hillary agreed to should have it. If she doesn’t show up to bad. Maybe trump should go over to her podium and answer the questions they intended to ask her. Or just ask them with no answer from Hillary.

That is what I am thinking. It would be a win/win for her/them. No debates, sympathy vote and no one would dare question her abut anything. Trump would be portrayed as a bully and his supporters as cold-hearted.
Team Hillary have been trying to figure out some way to get her out of doing the debates, without making it look like she is afraid to debate.
Just after the conventions, they even tried this tactic:
Former PA Gov Rendell commented on CNN that Trump was so far ahead of Clinton that HE should pull out of the debates and just stay on the campaign trail.
They fear something devastating might happen during one of the debates — a coughing fit, a seizure, a collapse or such. That would likely end her candidacy.
You are right on the media.
The sad part is most of Hillary’s voters will vote for her regardless of what she does or says (or even what the media says about her).

In 1972, Nixon not only refused to debate McGovern, but would not even mention him by name during the campaign. Of course he had the advantage of being the incumbent, and it had not yet become a given that debates will take place.
