I’ll add that Everett is the tip of the primary I-5 corridor starting in Olympia that votes Dim; however, I used to work in Everett and I think many are not as Dim as Seattle and Everett. There is also a Naval base there.
It’s about 50 miles from me, but I’m going to look into it - I’d LOVE to see him in person. I’ll post the event info on the WA State board, too. I heard he might be coming to WA towards the end of Aug but that’s all I knew - wasn’t confirmed so wasn’t sure if it was just a rumor until now.
The area around Everett has a heavy union presence. While the union bosses will tell their people to vote for Hillary, I’m not at all sure that the rank-and-file will follow through. Their bosses told them to vote for Obama, and the union rank-and-file believe that they were burned on that one.
