This area of the state is flatter than Kansas and often has tornadoes.
Nikk and I are both down in the south in the middle of the beautiful hills left by the glaciers. KNOBS

I lived just outside Atlanta for 30 years. We had some of the tornados...only touched down for a short while. Nothing like what you must experience. Here in Appalachia NC, near TN boarder about a month ago we had an 8 minute tornado - flying over the mountains!! We had trees downed, other areas had massive damage along the ridges. It was really odd. I do feel the fear.

You surely are in a beautiful place. I moved to appalicia / blue ridge mtns a couple of years ago and love it. I can’t get over the”black dirt”, as opposed to Georgia red clay”!!!
