I'm with you as far as your wish. It probably won't happen because this is the 49ers statement:

''The national anthem is and always will be a special part of the pregame ceremony. It is an opportunity to honor our country and reflect on the great liberties we are afforded as its citizens. In respecting such American principles as freedom of religion and freedom of expression, we recognize the right of an individual to choose to participate, or not, in our celebration of the national anthem.''

In other words..we are a bunch of wimps.

"Jessi", I have faith in the American people. People will speak out and their is another guy up for Quarterback. I can dream and who knows what the other players think. That was a paid response but we all know now with the coming of election time and immigration he has become a hot topic. Not sure the 49er's want this now.
