She’s a foul mouthed POS. I met her once, a long time ago. She came into this lounge at Watergate. My friend was tending bar. WE’re talking mid 1970s. Cher comes in with this stunning girl friend, much younger. Cher looked weird. Totally made up. I bet she looks atrocious in the AM. Why is that important? Because like other liberals, they hate themselves, so they will in turn put you down in the most vile way.

Yes, my first hero was JFK (I was born on his 43rd birthday on May 29, 1960).
I, too, come from a democrat family. My father passed in 2000 at age 85. He was a dairy farmer but not very political. My mother passed in 2012. She was born in Baltimore and always told me politics was “dirty.”
My only remaining family are my late brother’s children, my niece and nephew. Neither is political.
I voted for Reagan both times and never thought our country would ever find itself in an even more dire crisis, demanding strong leadership than the days of Jimmy Carter and the Iranian hostages. Recently, I had a few fleeting nostalgic moments about Carter (God, help me). At least, he imposed a moratorium on admitting Iranians. Then, I quickly regain my senses and remember how weak we were with him at the helm. It’s also disgraceful how he sides with the Palestinians over Israel. He attended the Naval Academy in Annapolis and yet espouses no national pride.
I gather some Arab interests rescued his peanut farm and he owes them somehow.
These days, I try to engage all with whose paths I cross in the stakes of the election. I do my level best to impress upon them that Mr. Trump represents our last hope to retain sovereignty, constitutional liberties and restore traditional American values.
I do encounter resistance. There are those two areas of conversation that are quite dicey: Politics and Religion.
I used to consider myself a moderate to conservative democrat—but the donkeys are far too radically left for me now.
Got up early to watch Eric and Laura. And then fell asleep as they were coming on. For anyone else who missed it.

For those that missed it, here’s Ann Coulter on Hannity last night - they both go after the NeverTrumpers. Ann does mention briefly a bit about some of what Trump said about illegals. Of course, she’s hawking her new book.

The press knows that Hillary has reneged on her transparency pledge. It's been brought to their attention numerous times, recently.

Boy George - wow! Now that’s a blast from the past. The one song of his I recall wasn’t bad, just didn’t like looking at him. George Michael was easier on the eyes and I liked his song(s) better, but alas, as I understand it, he wasn’t in to women and IIRC he got into drugs.

That's not much different from Donald and a lot of the problems have stemmed from our President and former to be honest and Hillary Clinton.
If I'm not mistaken change keeps your enemy unbalanced as to how to attack and how to plan a strategy and it's giving Hillary and her handlers fits! When they think he's down and out getting rid of this person and that he's actually fine tuning . I personally haven't a clue as how he does it and keeps focus ahead and understands where all his pieces fit. Donald has amazed me more than a few times and I'm sure he has plans and changes up to November.
He controls the media, he sees more American's conducing many rallies a week and he's on the Offense...not a bad place to be.

I'd let this thread ride until Trump's rally/appearance schedule changes. That way there is a meaningful title for each new thread, and the "trumprallytoday" keyword has better utility.
But that's just my point of view. I'll go with the flow.

Sounds like you had a good trip to Texas and Magnolia Farms - I’d love to go there, but it’s doubtful that will happen. I enjoyed reading your experience of it - thanks for sharing! I do like watching their show, but I don’t recall them showing their store per se, etc. before.
I bet you’ll miss your son. Are your DIL and granddaughter still living with you?
My nephew started his freshman year of HS - orientation W, T, F for 1/2 days this week and school starts Monday. It’s a good school (Catholic) but fairly large. I’m praying he does well. I called him Wed afternoon to see how it went and he said fine - they primarily did team-building type exercises (I took it for them to meet each other, etc.) Large freshman class!
