Nuocmam is a Vietnamese fermented fish sauce. An Thoi Nuocmam was considered the #1 brand. My ship was anchored off this premium fish sauce producer’s factory in Vietnam. Imagine soy sauce made from sardines. The smell was enough to gag a maggot and if breeze conditions were wrong there was no escape. If you can get it past your nose, nuocmam is a great flavor enhancer to many SE Asian dishes.

Dang, no thanks! My Vietnam experience was getting fed too much water buffalo, (they lied and said it was roast beef, HA)

I do remember the 33 Beer, YUK, warm or cold!

Thanks for your Service!
