You can petition the "Man" to change your name without losing your signed-on date if you wish.
I tried that years ago and for some reason it didn’t work. Can’t remember why, so had to sign up again. It was a year earlier than my current date.
May have to consider that after we move. BTW, anyone looking for a house on the Jersey shore?
