You make it sounds as if all French women are required to wear burkinis for swimwear. The point of the article is the exact opposite. Women are forbidden the choice to wear one by government fiat. That is what I disagree with. Just so we are clear what is banned:

I know what they look like & I know real French women aren’t required to wear one. That’s not the point.

They should be banned because the Muslims have every intention of imposing sharia law & forcing it on all women, Muslim & Non-Muslim. The burkini (garbage bag) is a symbol of Muslim militancy & oppression of women. And, make no mistake, they intend to force that on EVERY woman.

They’ll never force me into a garbage bag. Which is exactly what burqas & burkinis are. As a woman, it is horribly offensive to see women wearing those cruelly hot, degrading bags while the men are wearing only trunks & shirtless. That is cruelty to women & incredibly degrading.
