* TORNADO WARNING FOR... WEST CENTRAL CARROLL COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL INDIANA... NORTHERN TIPPECANOE COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL INDIANA...
* UNTIL 515 PM EDT
* AT 444 PM EDT... A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO WAS LOCATED NEAR WEST LAFAYETTE... OR NEAR OTTERBEIN... MOVING EAST AT 35 MPH.
HAZARD... TORNADO.
SOURCE... RADAR INDICATED ROTATION.
IMPACT... FLYING DEBRIS WILL BE DANGEROUS TO THOSE CAUGHT WITHOUT SHELTER. MOBILE HOMES WILL BE DAMAGED OR DESTROYED. DAMAGE TO ROOFS... WINDOWS... AND VEHICLES WILL OCCUR. TREE DAMAGE IS LIKELY.
* THIS DANGEROUS STORM WILL BE NEAR... BATTLE GROUND AROUND 500 PM EDT.
THIS INCLUDES INTERSTATE 65 BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 177 AND 184.
I can’t help but think that the contractor cut some major corners in building that Starbucks. The cell tower immediately behind it appears undamaged, as do surrounding retail stores. Cars in the lot appear undisturbed.

Funnel reported Indy Southside at Edgewood and Arlington
There is a strip mall to the south and an enclosed mall to the west, they appear to be undamaged but across the street to the east it hit the housing addition.
I guess I need to remind myself how seemingly arbitrary and spotty tornado damage can sometimes be.

I’m back. There are more storms headed towards Kokomo and rotation seen on radar near the State Fairgrounds in Indy.
Ham Net just reported a rotating wall cloud west of Kokomo in Howard county.
