Just watched the video.
Slowest darn firing machine guns I’ve ever seen.

Are you referring to a carbine?

Just from the looks of it, I wouldn’t want to own one, not that I’m scared of it, but it just seems to me it would be uncomfortable to hold.

I have 2 AR15s. I have 2 daughters.

Sometimes life is simple that way.

My wife? She can have the stick.

Are you referring to a carbine?

No.

Hit "gunsamerica.com" and search on "AK pistol." It's a thing.

I'd show you myself, but I can't hit those sites from work.

Cute. Do they make a bedazzled pink powder coated one for the UK market? I highly doubt it.

Yep....lots of dummies violate NFA of 1934 laws by doing either:

a) adding a stock to it and NOT paying the mandatory $200.00 NFA tax for SBR or
2) adding a foregrip to it and NOT paying the mandatory $5.00 NFA tax for making it an AOW.

ATF has literally watched dumb first time owners put photos on facebook of their new Draco pistol with a lot of tacti-cool crap on it violating NFA of 1934 and GCA 1986 laws. ATF usually just confiscates ALL of their guns and warns them....and they have gotten a several dozen prosecutions for the above offenses.

......and by the way, I think NFA and GCA and FOPA should be repealed!

” What in the world is an AK pistol? “

An AK clone with no stock and a short barrel. You can see it clearly in the video. Obviously not full auto, though.

"..Not to sound like a homo, but that firearm is just plain adorable. I want one for my daughter!"

Don't forget some good ear protection, then.
Rifle action/cartridge based pistols are reallllyy loud.
And not very accurate. d:^)

No haiku?

I was thinking the same thing. It was almost as if that particular machine gun fired only one round each time the perp pulled the trigger...

Hmmmm.

I laughed when they titled this about the girl being a “bystander” getting hit....as if she didn’t know the gang she was traveling with lolool....
Rather than that they should have titled it what it was...it these were two men duking it out with firearms....doesn’t matter if they were gang members or not....

Most of them I can’t hit either, even a lot of pages here on FR. I did go looking and found some. Some of them look like carbines, but most of them I’d allow the pistol moniker.

Now I have a new obsession.

I give up. What in the world is an AK pistol?

One of these. AK variants without a butt stock are considered to be handguns.

AK pistol? Simple, a pistol from Arkansas. See, another violation in the land of Oz, crossing state lines with a death ray.

Two black guys blazing away at each other in public. One at least with an automatic weapon.

That’s the story.

So why is this thread focused on the reporting? Apart from the word ‘machine guns’ it seems pretty good. Turns out they were right about the AK pistol as well.

But hey, if there’s a problem with it, why not just post up a link from the American media that covers the same story?

“Just from the looks of it, I wouldn’t want to own one, not that I’m scared of it, but it just seems to me it would be uncomfortable to hold.”

From the video it didn’t look like he was able to use it effectively. I wouldn’t buy one. The benefit of an AR pistol (not that I have one, boating accident) is that the buffer tube is integral to the function of the gun and even though it’s not a stock lets you get a cheek weld on it and fire it like its a carbine. Don’t let your buffer tube touch your shoulder the ATF says that magically transforms your pistol into an SBR.
