CNN is talking with Duncan Hunter, on the subject of Trump "softening" his immigration policy. Hunter outlines a process whereby Trump plans to build the wall, plug the leaks, and deport the illegal aliens who are convicted of other crimes, then deal with the rest of the illegals. CNN's Briana Kielar asserts that this approach is a softening of Trump's previously stated plans.

As far as I can tell, she's just making that up; unless they "invented" ascribing a mass deportation (as if deporting 2 million isn't mass) was his stated plan.

Kielar also says "What the hell do you have to lose" is a harsh message. It's not harsh against the people who are living in the ghettos, it is a challenge to them to look at the politics and policies of each of the two parties. Hunter is having none of it.

Kielar also criticizes Trump for delivering the remarks to a black audience, Hunter says that criticism is a press invention, has no merit. Hunter says "I'm a republican, I don't see gender, I don't see race. My message doesn't change based on the audience. Hunter says he could go into an inner city and speak and he'd get about 5 people, LOL. CNN has very weak ju ju against Trump. They are clowns. Hunter doing a good job in hostile territory.

Hunter says he gives the polls no weight at all, and CNN maybe won't have him on again for that remark.
