I was going to take off and see him in Jackson tonight, but his current talk about immigration removes that desire for me to go. I will still vote for him, but certainly not as enthusiastically. The new talk will lose him votes.

You’re misreading that one. The ideal hasn’t changed, the staging probably has. They’ll use law enforcement to round up Obama’s criminal releases and gang members and deport the ones in jail - immediately. “So fast your head will spin” as the orange guy says. They’ll have to have a more due process oriented method to get the visa overstays and the long term squatters to go out and get in line. It’s just the truth. I just did the max contribution knowing this. I’m feeling good about the big push now.
This is exactly why no Repub candidate should talk about immigration. Unless you say you want to put them up in front of a firing squad it is amnesty.
Until you build the wall it is simply words. He cannot change the laws but can enforce them. What more do you want?

Where are you getting this? You’re talking as though Trump has gone soft on illegals.
Donald Trump has certainly not backed off his immigration policy in any way. Anybody watching his speeches and watching the Hannity Town Hall last night (Part 2 to be shown tonight) will know that for themselves.
The troubled Crooked Hillary campaign and their partners (the mainstream media) are on a mission to plant seeds of doubt in Trump supporters by claiming that Trump is either backing off or not planning on implementing his campaign promises. So when people like yourself say that you are no longer enthusiastically supporting Trump or going to his rallies because of their spin, then mission accomplished!
It is sad to see that some Freepers allow these establishment media to plant these seeds of doubt, be it their bogus polls or things like this.
This election is an all-out war and Donald Trump needs soldiers supporting him, not hand-wringing wishy-washy people who get all squishy when the battle gets rough.

Trump will follow the Laws on the Books, deport Criminal Aliens rather than releasing them on America’s Streets, build a Secure Border Wall, get rid of Sanctuary Cities and stop the Obama Policy of making Illegals a protected Class who have access to Public Assistance meant for American Citizens.
That will reverse the trend immediately. You have to start somewhere. Hillary wants Open Borders, just like the idiotic Green and Libertarian Candidates. Trump stands alone.
