Rubio on Trump: First a Con Man, Now Better Than Clinton
ABC News ^ | 8/23/2016 | brendan farrington

A dangerous, erratic, con man with the worst spray tan ever. That's how Sen. Marco Rubio described Donald Trump when they were both seeking the Republican presidential nomination.

Now that Trump is the nominee and Rubio is running for re-election, his tone is different. He is no longer criticizing Trump, but he isn't exactly gushing praise. Democrats are trying to make him look like a hypocrite for backing the man he previously said shouldn't have access to nuclear weapon codes, and for jumping back into the Senate race after he said he wouldn't.

"Sen. Rubio is actually the real con man here," said U.S. Rep. Patrick Murphy, who is challenging U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson for the Democratic nomination. "He said something to the effect of, 'Ten thousand times, I'm telling you I'm not going to run for the Senate again.' Well guess what? He's running for the Senate again."

But don't ask Rubio to reconcile supporting Trump with his past criticism.

"We've gone through that a million times," Rubio said at a campaign stop at a Tallahassee restaurant. "At this point we're just going to continue to focus on my race and leave the past in the past."

Last month in Panama City, Rubio said he is supporting Trump because he pledged early in the campaign to support the Republican nominee.

"There are only two people in the world that are going to be president of the United States in 2017," Rubio said. "It will either be Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump. And It can't be Hillary Clinton."

Leaving his remarks in the past isn't something his opponents are willing to do. Republican developer Carlos Beruff often criticizes Rubio for not enthusiastically supporting Trump, and Murphy and Grayson are calling him out for his hypocrisy.

My guess is Rubio is heavily vested in the Clintoon Foundation.

So do we vote for this guy Carlos Beruff ?

I heard that Carlos was and maybe still in the Charlie Crist camp. I hope that’s false.

“Rubio is far preferable than the idiotic neverTrumpers.”

Don’t kid yourself, that’s exactly who he is and who owns Rubio. He’s just too big an opportunist/coward to admit it.

In my honest opinion, career politicians by definition are opportunists, with very very very few exceptions. At least Rubio is saying Trump is preferable over crooked Hillary. The neverTrumpers do NOT even say that.

snip “Behind Marco Rubio, a powerful ally: Private prison operator Geo Group”

“Since 2004, Geo Group has given about $1.7 million to federal candidates, according to the Center for Responsive Politics. It has spent $4.7 million on lobbying in the same time, including hiring Navigators Global, which employs founding partner Cesar Conda, Rubio one-time chief of staff. Conda has said he did not lobby on Geo Group matters.”

Glad to see this posted. Be aware..Conda isn’t some former employee of Rubio...Conda OWNS Rubio and Paul Ryan..he mentored them both..he hired them. He is a powerful immigration lawyer/lobbyist using conservatism to fit his agenda of open borders and bad trade.

Conda is also the BIG lobbyist for these private prisons and just passed it on to his home boy Rubio.

Honestly, you’ll need to ask someone else.

I don’t know Beruff.

You do bring up a point about Rubeo needing votes. Is that why he has morphed a bit on Trump?

I voted for Carlos even though he supported Charlie last election. Christ appointed Carlos to several boards.

I view it the same as Palin supporting McQueeg.

He will not be a dependable supporter for Trump in the Senate if he’s re-elected, that’s for sure. He’ll probably feel it’s his responsibility to try and reign Trump in.

Rubio Wears Cuban Boots

Goin’ home, late last night
Suddenly I got a fright
Yeah I looked through a window and surprised what I saw
A fairy with boots and dancin’ with a dwarf,
All right now!

Yeah, fairies wear boots and you gotta believe me
Yeah I saw it, I saw it, I tell you no lies
Yeah Fairies wear boots and you gotta believe me
I saw it, I saw it with my own two eyes,
Oh all right now!

There’s not a spit’s worth of difference between Rubio and Cruz.

Frankly my dear, I don’t give a d____n. I wouldn’t trust Marco “Bring ‘Em All Into the Country” Rubio if he had all 4 limbs on a Bible. His opinions are no more than a exhaled breath running over his vocal cords. Even an operating dryer makes better use of hot air.

I don’t like or trust Rubio, but both statements could be true of the same person. There are very few in history who are worse than Monica’s rival, even among the world’s villains. There are a whole lot of dangerous, erratic con men who would be much better than a dangerous, power-hungry socialist like Hillary.

“First a Con Man”

Rubio’s admitting he got conned. We don’t want a sucker in the White House either.

“I am ready for a patriotic nationalist businessman.”

So am I and the rest of the country.

People like Rubio, Cruz, and the rest of the congress critters have left a bad taste in my mouth when I say conservative anymore.

Globalists are NOT conservatives much less Conservatives.

are all in there to benefit their own careers. They make great sounding speeches, and then follow my tag line.
