You have to draw the line.

If you don’t folks will waltz onto the beach wearing a bomb vest.

They’re cracking down on Islamic fundamentalist dress attire. As I have said elsewhere, normally I’d agree with you. This is not a normal time.

If someone is flouting the new law, it causes them to be a terrorist suspect, and gives the police every right to challenge and vet the individual.

I get the impression this write over-played the strip down part. I doubt the police ordered her to strip naked, unless her clothing could have hidden something. And taking her word for anything, sorry, not happening...

Lesson: Don’t break the new law.

There’s a reason.

More than likely, you are right and it is understandable considering what Nice just went through. Political correctness got us to this point, so the reaction shouldn’t be unexpected. Still, it bothers me.

The problem is as much these reporters: Peter Allen and Ted Thornhill; note their hyperbolic reporting: disrobed, protecting her modesty... armed officers, marched on to the beach, ordered off the beach...

This story seems to blown out of proportion.
