Unless she was pulling a Sandy Burger. If she had the documents in her car (trunk, pocket, seat, whatever), where was she taking the documents? She doesn’t say that she was going to burn them.

One could safely say that the documents wound up in terrorist hands.

As a general question for everyone, in this day and age, when anyone with a cell phone can take pictures of documents very easily, why do we think any documents are secure if we can’t trust the people who have access to them? Stealing/removing the documents doesn’t seem necessary. The only reason I can see for someone to need to steal documents, is to remove evidence from the record so no one else sees it.
