What difference, at this point, does it make?
Something about this doesn’t make any sense. In an environment where you create classified....it does end up in a burn-bag, within your classified work-environment. Then “burn-day” comes up and some admin guy (usually a GS-9 or GS-10) will come by with a cart and pick up the bags to deliver to a central point where it’s either burned in the building or at a distant facility.
So, if I go by this email...someone has actually taken their bag outside of the whole building which would make no sense, and they even put it into their own car. Why do this if there’s ‘Shred-Sam’ with the cart who’d pick it up from your office or division?
No body cares. What’s on tv???

The method is easy, simply leave classified information unsecured and allow interested third parties to review it.
In the case of mishandled burn bags, if the information in the bag disappears, who will know it did not get burned if it is stolen and certainly all finger prints will be destroyed if destroyed so there is no proof of third parties sifting through it before destruction
For example, Huma’s habit of leaving secret briefing books lying on the bed of her unlocked hotel room (how can that happen) while out of the building in meetings
I don’t read this as a burn bag. I read this as using “burn” to avoid saying “classified”. The materials were probably multiple Secret or Top Secret documents, several inches thick, as I read the phrase “a bunch of”. In other words, Hillary’s girlfriend took stuff out of the secure facility without permission or safeguards, and she wanted someone else to cover for her.
This is disgusting. People who do this so casually need several years of fresh air and exercise . . . at Fort Leavenworth.
