The chances of getting a Special Prosecutor appointed AND getting a prosecution AND getting actual convictions are near zero. In any case it would take 2+ years to produce any result. This thing has to be won as a POLITICAL battle over the next 10 weeks.
All the every day gumshoes of the Bureau do is compile evidence - in short they investigate! It’s not their fault a corrupt compromised DOJ refuses to indict. (And yes their Director has huge conflict of interest problems with the Clintons!)
