Agree.

I think there was a way for Trump to respond, but not in the way he did it.

For example, Mika referred to Trump’s speech as if he had too much to drink.

Trump could have responded with shock and dismay as to Morning Joe’s distasteful criticism. He could have reiterated that he doesn’t drink, that he’s stressed the dangers of addiction to his children, using the damage done to his brother due to alcohol abuse.

Then, go on to talk about Law and Order, how the wall will help stop the flow of drugs into the country and how a Trump administration will work on better treatment to help people beat their addictions, etc.

If Kellyanne can help Trump pinpoint openings in critics’ lowbrow statements, then craft responses that call them out while doubling down on the positive message, I think that could work better.

We’re only a couple of months out, the positive argument for PIAPS is nonexistent, the negative argument grows by the day. Keep the focus on PIAPS’ negatives.

This conduct by the MSM is intentional, attempting to get Trump off his game. Last week scared the heck out of PIAPS/MSM. If Trump can be Trump but in a more effective manner, it keeps the focus on PIAPS.

My 1 1/2 cents!

I agree with your take. I’ll admit that I had to look up PIAPS though. Lol.
