Chaffetz: Clinton Interview Notes Provided by FBI Are ‘Embarrassing’
Town Hall ^ | August 22, 2016 | Cortney O'Brien

EXCERPT

First, the FBI provided the committee a set of documents which Chaffetz said was “highly redacted.” Then, when Chaffetz asked the agency to provide a second copy, the FBI offered them noticeably different documents.

"So we have a second set of documents that's now different," Chaffetz said. "When you turn them page by page, they're different. I don't know why that happened."

Chaffetz went on to criticize the second set of documents as embarrassing, especially after the FBI claimed the material was classified.

"A lot of this that they claim is classified is just flat-out embarrassing. There's nothing classified about it, it's just embarrassing. It's a lot of immature name-calling, stuff like that," Chaffetz said, while adding that he was not accusing the FBI of protecting Clinton.

We have a real country but our government has clearly gone rogue and it no longer answers to either Congress or the people who elected that Congress.

If the FBI is just going to be an extension of the Democrat Party current regime then..... Shut it down and send them home.

I don't care WHICH\WHAT Party has the reigns, if the FBI isn't doing its JOB zero out the budget and send 'em home.

If they are doing what they shouldn't, zero out the budget until they clean-house\prosecute the law-breakers.

Why would the FBI protect Hillary? What are they hiding? Is it something about the agency itself, that they’re trying to protect? IDK.

I hope this reaches the Media but very doubtful. Someone needs to step up to the plate. RINOs don’t have the stomach for it.

And, the corruption grows, and grows. Can’t trust anything from inside the beltway.

The FBI, and the entire civil bureaucracy of the federal government, is in cahoots with Clinton and the Democrats.

There are interstate crimes and crimes of a nature that require more of a centralized and able to operate in all jurisdictions agency.

Police agencies are set up to handle crimes within their own jurisdiction. They are not set up to handle national matters. They may be able to capture a guy from time to time that is wanted nationally, but they generally aren’t going to be out there investigating a national figure operating across state lines.

When it comes to a large operation like the OKC Bombing, you need to have a federal agency to fall back on. They need to collect information across state lines and even across U. S. borders.

It’s my take there does need to be a federal agency akin to the FBI.

BATF? No. Disband it today.

It hasn’t gone rogue, its gone tharn. Its a term used in Watership Down to describe a rabbit that has just frozen in the sight of danger. Its similar to “deer in the headlights.”

... heads should roll starting at the top, upper, and mid level management,....The agency has clearly gone rogue...It needs to be cleaned up.

My question would be, how do we accomplish "cleaning up" politicized and corrupt officials. Impeachment is the vehicle that starts the removal process for Congress, the POTUS and SCOTUS. I'm not certain as to the vehicle for removing "unelected" officials. Is it recall? If so, has anyone initiated the recall of the FBI Director, the AG, the IRS Director, the EPA Director, the Fed Chairman and Board and our many other corrupt and politicized officials.

OK, if he won't, I will.

The used to be the 'Untouchables'; now, they clearly are the "Touchables".

This will be the way that the b*tch says the FBI altered them and there was nothing of importance or criminal in any of it, just a vast conspiracy in the FBI to try and destroy her campaign.

I see that. But you are spelling your name with a double-V.

I may interject... No he is not spelling his name with a double V. He is using \ and / symbols to make a W.

No, that’s making a double-V. It’s really important that you understand that.

My impression is that it has gone ideological in support of the Left.

You’re thought may be more accurate, but for the time being I’m still leaning my way.

It makes a stylized W in my book. I don’t care enough to be that concerned about it.

Now getting back on track, it is interesting that the highly redacted documents and those not highly redacted are so different as to appear to have different source documents. And it is interesting how nothing will come of it.

I haven’t seen it, but that doesn’t mean it’s never happened.

Something akin to this happens when a new president arrives. I believe he can replace the FBI Director at will.

Same would take place for some of the others.

It would seem Congress could take action with department heads. A vote would be required and probably a 2/3rds majority.

I honestly don’t know about the process. I may be wrong.
