Yeah, Booker was Mayor of Newark before he escaped to the US Senate.... he was supposed to be the savior of Newark but nothing seems to have changed there.
Zuckerberg (Facebook) sank $100 million into some public education project in Newark, at the urging of Booker, but it was one of those feel good PR efforts and the money was pissed away. I don’t know that Booker actually accomplished anything.
