I’ve been granted Honorary Texan status with my new work mates in Austin Since I joined them to manage a part of their business in Tokyo last year. I couldn’t be happier. I’ll never move back to California, but I’ll definitely move to Texas if I ever have to relocate from Tokyo.
I was born in California and spent a half century there, but I pulled up stakes and moved my family and business to Texas ten years ago.
Best move I ever made, and I’ll never go back.

Well done. I’m a Sacramento boy myself, but moved to Tokyo 18 years ago. The only place I’ll return to in the States would be Texas. Thankfully I’m having a blast here, but in an emergency, or whatnot, I have new friends through my new job that can help me get set up in Texas should the need arise.
Maybe Charles Blow can read this and buy a clue?

I saw CNN on in a restaurant where they were covering his outreach to African Americans. I had previously seen multiple rallies where he has blacks not only at the rallies, but multiple rallies were blacks are featured speakers. And in the panel, they declared that Donald Trump was talking about blacks but didn’t have blacks at his rallies. Totally false reporting. Either they were lying or haven’t bothered to watch any of his rallies to know one way or the other and just went with their prepared narrative regardless of the facts...the latter is no more honest than the former.
