Propaganda is right... they’ve all sold out - the MSM is whoring for Clinton and Democrats

http://nypost.com/2016/08/21/american-journalism-is-collapsing-before-our-eyes/

Donald Trump may or may not fix his campaign, and Hillary Clinton may or may not become the first female president. But something else happening before our eyes is almost as important: the complete collapse of American journalism as we know it.

The frenzy to bury Trump is not limited to the Clinton campaign and the Obama White House. They are working hand-in-hand with what was considered the cream of the nation’s news organizations.

The shameful display of naked partisanship by the elite media is unlike anything seen in modern America.

The largest broadcast networks — CBS, NBC and ABC — and major newspapers like The New York Times and Washington Post have jettisoned all pretense of fair play. Their fierce determination to keep Trump out of the Oval Office has no precedent.

...

Indeed, no foreign enemy, no terror group, no native criminal gang, suffers the daily beating that Trump does. The mad mullahs of Iran, who call America the Great Satan and vow to wipe Israel off the map, are treated gently by comparison.

Yeah ... me too ... and almost all of his speeches are mostly in English.

He's not dumb nor un-educated.

It’s the typical defensive reaction when somebody in the US criticizes a foreign leader...”Yeah, but....but.....America is Racist, who are they to criticize me?”

Thats correct, thats his point.
He is very Trump-like in his public communication, or rather considerably more extreme. This is a man with no filter.

True, this line has been taken by every nasty government since 1945 - and in some cases, Mexico, Spain, Cuba, Philippines, misc places in Latin America - long before. Duterte has said about the same re the US that Porfirio Diaz did (for one).

“Who are his political opponents? Maybe they need shooting too, if they’re communists or muslin.”

No. He also has ended the fight against communist insurgents.

He sides with China over his own country and the rest of the world regarding territorial issues.

I can match headstone for headstone, and outnumber yours by over 20:1, and all of mine died for the US.
No, you cant change the past.
On the other hand, you can understand it, or try.
The truth is the Philippines was inadvertently in the way, between Japanese and US interests. It most definitely didnt want to be a battlefield and its government did everything in its power to avoid its fate. It was dragged unwillingly into the Pacific war by Roosevelt, and it paid a price it shouldnt have been called on to pay.
And, moreover, whatever the US did (a great deal of course) to recover it from the Japanese was simply the least the US could do, having been so terribly negligent about defending it. It is still an outrage, 75 years on, that the US dangled 17 million people as geopolitical bait in the China sea. The US deliberately made a terrible enemy, risked the Filipinos by keeping their country as a base against Japan, and then failed at defending them from Japanese ferocity.

Indeed, that alone is already cause for concern at the very least, considering that these people have already killed multiple American servicemen on separate occasions in the 1980’s and 1990’s and have never yet paid for their crimes.

That list is slightly incorrect.

Detroit officially last elected a GOP Mayor, Albert Cobo, in 1953 (his successor was a non-partisan and all Democrats since after 1961).

Buffalo had a Mayor who switched parties back and forth and won as a Republican in 1985.

Miami never having a Republican Mayor is a falsehood. It has had several and the present Mayor since 2009 is a Republican, Tomas Regalado.

El Paso has had a few GOP Mayors and one Dem who endorsed Dubya in recent years.

Newark last elected a GOP Mayor in 1949 (not that that’s much better than 1907).

It wouldn’t have mattered if the Phillipines weren’t a US territory, the Japanese stupidly would have rolled over them. The PI were far too strategic to the Japanese for them to not occupy them.

All the U.S. having been there meant, is that we kicked out the Japanese earlier than we might have otherwise, due to MacArthur’s insistence. They could have been bypassed until after the surrender in Tokyo.
