Cruz criticized Hillary in his speech and has said explicitly he is not voting for Hillary before and after the speech. Hillary’s not the issue. He is simply being honest that he’s an undecided voter when it comes to Trump, like many conservatives. It just shows how sick the world of politics is when simply asking the voters to think for themselves, use their own judgment and follow their own conscience is considered some kind of grave moral error.

The fact is Cruz accurately represents conservatives who are not sold on Trump. He’s honestly communicating to Trump that Trump needs to continue to work on wooing that block of voters if he wants to win. If Trump pivots to the left, he won’t win, because those people don’t trust that he’s a real conservative any more than they trusted that McCain and Romney were. It won’t help Trump for him to have false confidence that he’s won those voters over yet. He needs to convince conservatives that he’ll deliver what they’re looking for.

Just what is a conservative? What is there to conserve? What is your problem with nationalism?

I am sorry but this is not 1980. Reagan is dead. We are not fighting a cold war. The Republican Party is dead.

I have never seen a bigger crock of bovine excrement in my life. You and the Cruzinistas make me sick. This election is not for some High School student President! This is for the life of the nation. You have two choices now: Trump or Clinton. Life or death.

Trump is making his case to the nation now. So is Hillary. He does not need to "woo" anyone; that was for the primary season. You're still undecided about voting for the Republican candidate? Stay home. We don't need your kind. Trump is winning over blacks, disgruntled Democrats, and others who are afraid of Hillary. Go pound sand; you're a hell of a lot less influential than you think.
