We have decided to overthrow the Syrian government. We are conducting operations. You might not like the semantics, but yes, we are the invaders.
We also support AL Nusra, the FSA, and other jihadi groups.
We are now using the weasel tactic of embedding troops with these foul actors and then claiming anyone attacking the bad guys is attacking US forces and that we have to defend ourselves.

its crap, and we are the invaders, working on the behalf of the Gulf States and the Saudis.

You betcha! The whole Middle East is unwinding from Sykes-Picot. We can’t stop it, let’s get out of the way!

Too bad Moochelle doesn’t feed him lots of bacon and eggs and butter so his arteries harden and shatter catastrophically.

You need to get your facts straight. Obama did arm Isis in the beginning and switched sides now. Anyway, regime change is not a us policy, Obama even said so even though he has removed 5 by forces. You have to ash yourself, why do you support a fascist government?

The fantasies of Syria circa 1920 notwithstanding, Syria IS a nation state, recognized at the UN and worldwide. Their ally of 45 or 50 years has been Russia.
The Syrian government invited them in. They are there legally.

We are not. There is no UN authorization, no US declaration of war, no war powers act notice, no Congressional authorization. Nothing but a whim of Obama and a few NATO nations just agreeing at the executive level to attack.
This war is a war crime perpetrated by us through Obama. Nothing less.

What are we supposed to do? Give the Kurds the finger?

I dont want that other trash in Syria protected but these are, and we all know it, attacks on Kurds specifically.

Turkey hates them, Syria hates them, but they’re the only ones that fought ISIS the past two years,

" Now we have the F-35, which is inferior to everybody’s fighters right out of the gate, at almost the same price as the F-22."

Not so.

At $85 million a copy (2018 pricing) it's cost equivalent with the latest F-16 block D.

Additionally, due to superior sensors, and combat systems/radars the F-35 can defeat any plane in the sky before the bogie even knows he's there.

Interestingly the F-35A has a 360deg infrared view with a range of 700miles to detect even a small AA missile launch. Or another aircraft.

That infrared view is presented to the pilot in his helmet view and allows him to very simply select a target and use BVR missiles to take it out.

And that's before they even turn on the most advanced radar in the sky.

And, there is no known targeting radar that can get a bead on it.

Assad buys oil from ISIs and has armed IsIs. Assad neutralized attempts at reforms and ouster by releasing islamic terrorists from prisons. Assad is the sole reason for this mess in Syria, along with Saddam Baath party which fled Iraq to set up ISIs shop in Syria and come back to Iraq to reinvade places like Fallujah.

Obama is secretly coordinated with Assad in language in creating a military vacuum in Iraq for this to happen

Protecting the Kurds isn’t lame. In case everybody missed it, they’ve been the only ones fighting ISIS for REAL for two years now.

#### Turkey. They watched on as ISIS was on the verge of slaughtering kurds. AND they bought the oil to keep ISIS going until Russia stopped it.

How about not #### the kurds. #### Turey, #### Syria and ### Russia.

UN recognition is terroristic and fictitious. It is the war crime.

Declarations of war notwithstanding, calling US forces defending Kurds and others from the genocide induced by UN Syria mandate language is absolute insanity.

This is not true. The Syrian government fights ISIS all the time, the liberation of Palmyra recently is just one episode in this fight.

And the fighting between AQ (AL Nusra) and ISIS is quite real in some areas.

To: realcleanguy; All

OK, found an explanationof what Obama is now up to

The US is now backing Kurdish separatists who want to break off from Assad and form a Kurdis state in Northern Syria

The US also is blocking the involvement of our Kurdish “allies” in diplomatic negotiations with the Govt of Syria, leaving them to settle scores by militants fighting, not negotiating

This we are creating a new civil war of Arab vs Kurd and continuing to destabilize Syria, all in Obama’s determination to topple Assad

Kurdish separatist tools are replacing or supplementing our daesh tools as Obama continues to wage an illegal war on the government of Syria with US troops now in Syria “training” the Kurdish militants

Now Obama can claim to be supporting “democratic” kurd opposition to assad

Clever eh.
Sick people we have running our government and a sick congress allowing this charade to continue and grow

UN recognition is terroristic and fictitious.

I am with you. Let's declare all the countries recognized by the UN "terroristic and fictitious" and put all their leaders on trial.. :P

see my post above

We are not “protecting” the Kurds, we are USING them

We are arming and inciting them into a civil war vs Syria, pressing claims for a huge swath of northern Syria in which many nonKurds live- guaranteeing a new round of human misery and refugees

We are even blocking them from being part of negotiations

You are accurate. But one important addition:

Either by design or by stupidity this also leads to civil war between the Kurds and the Turks inside Turkey, and this is why we see Erdogan changing his loyalties and US attempting to overthrow him.

LOL. "Protecting" is ALWAYS "Using" OR "Enslaving".

As just one example : "Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia " set up by the Nazi to protect the occupied Czech.

Once a leader talks about protecting, defending, helping... be very careful. Especially if the leader is a golfer.
