The supposed fretting is that the Clinton Foundation is having a meeting a week before the first debate, and the Clinton Foundation will thereby be in the news. The article is very predictable, essentially citing "optics" and the ability of Trump to play off that. But what caught my eye was this ...
While GOP nominee Mitt Romney addressed the conference four years ago, this year, Republicans are using charges of cronyism and favorable access for Clinton Foundation donors as a key line of attack against the Democratic nominee.
The corollary this year would be Trump attending the Foundation annual meeting. Ponder that contrast! (between Romney and Trump) I bet designated GOP nominee/loser Jeb Bush would attend.

She was pumping gas and there was another guy doing the same. The black girls said to the guy “haven’t you ever seen black girls before?”. She looked up and the girls said “What are you looking at?”. She said ” You walking toward me” That is when they attacked.

We have a staff meeting every Monday morning. It’s mainly me and the manager, (also a man), and the staff of 8 ladies. I’m in the South and we have some young black staff people, who are exceptionally good I might add.
NOne of the ladies are paying much attention to the elections thus far. They talk about voting for Trump, BUT THEY HAVEN’T REALLY SAT DOWN AND DECIDED!
Anyway, at the end when we’re asked if anyone has anything, when it came to me I said:
“Yeah. I have to get something off my chest. If you are concerned about the future of this country to the sake of your kids, and grandkids, I’m asking you to start listening to Trump. I listened to his speech last night in Charlotte, and I must tell you, I believe this man will save our country. I don’t know what is going on for sure, but I have the sense that our gov’t and the people leading is so fair gone corrupt, the if we don’t get the right people in there now we will probably not recognize our country in five years.”
I went on to talk about the absolutely poorest people and sickest people I’ve ever seen in our wound care clinic. Most have no insurance. They almost all have Diabetes, and half are dead in 2 years from when I first see them. I heal their wounds, but they die from other things related to DM. I told them that Obamacare is not the answer. It may be good for our hospital, but not for the people whom we serve, or ourselves for that matter.
Anyway, I think I woke them up.

An Amtrak passenger train crosses the Rappahannock in Fredericksburg.
YOu know, there’s something so telling about this photo. Much attention to detail.
The maître de has a coat and tie, of course, but also a flower. I am quite sure the man is French, because that was kind of the established thing in French dining, the head guy wore the flower.
The patrons are well dressed too. I remember being on a train with my brother. We had to have our shoes shined, white shirts, and our hair combed.
Look at the table. My fiancée and I are just into our shrimp cocktail. There are matching large glass water pitchers on each table. Fancy high quality silverware, that you can’t bend with your hands, and silver serving pieces.
Look at the place setting in the foreground. I count four piece two spoons and two knives. At the end of each table it looks like a silver sugar server? There are two spoons going in different directions. They’re on each table.
The car is nicely decorated. Leather chairs. There are yellow flowers at each window.
I have hanky in my coat pocket, as does the maître de. Women wore red lipstick and red nail polish or variations there of.
I love it when someone says, “I really enjoy, fine dining.” Americans don’t know what fine dining is unless it came up from the floor and bit them in their @ss. Here’s a train, dining car in the 50s, and it’s the standard for restaurants back then.
From some of the posts, at the reporter’s tweet link, they did more than just spit. They are sick and disgusting thugs. Glad it was caught on tape.
Another reporter’s tweet vid showed the thugs trying to stop Trump’s motorcade. The posts at that link are disgusting, as well. The thugs saying ‘hold tight, we’re coming for you, next’ types of things. Crazy.
