I think often they don't want to admit they have some conservative values due to the constant ramming down their throats how terrible and uncaring conservatives are.

KEILAR: Can't you see the ad being made, where -- because the Clinton campaign does this. It's not even a voice other than Donald Trump's. They'll put up the "What do you have to lose?" Then they're going to have a picture, no doubt, of that African-American protester at one of Donald Trump's rallies who gets punched in the face by a Donald Trump supporter. They're going to have Donald Trump saying, "I'm going to pay for that guy's legal bills" and so on. And they're just going to pick different things that Donald Trump has said. Isn't that damning?
I've been waiting for the transcript snippet where David Gergen says Trump is like Rasputin, can't be killed. I notice the most interesting CNN segments are the slowest to make their way to CNN's written record of itself.
And some positive news on the poll front, the USC Dornsife / LA Times Presidential Election "Daybreak" Poll now has Trump leading by a fraction of a percentage, and trending up. There is a separate thread on that, plus I posted the same link and similar remark near the end of the rally thread from yesterday.
Scanning the news, not much at all on Trump or Hillary. That's a good thing. The press has a dearth of manufactured issues against Trump for now. The closest thing I can find to a "dig" is a joke of an argument floated by CBS.
On the heels of another staff shakeup, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump was facing a new backlash - this time for his attempt to get black voters to vote for him in the November election. ...CBS News correspondent Errol Barnett reports it was supposed to be a day for a clean slate, but Trump's latest attempted outreach to a larger voting bloc was called ignorant and heavy-handed by his critics.
Watch out for the backlash! LOL. The entire backlash cited was the tweet by a person who has the keys to Crooked's twitter account, "This is so ignorant itaEUR(TM)s staggering. @HillaryClinton 7:19 PM - 19 Aug 2016".
My prediction that Trump's "regret" remark would be used to justify digging up old news plays out in may venues. See for example, "Washington Post Editorial: Which 'wrong thing' does Trump regret?"

I work at a VA facility. Yesterday as I was leaving the Trump rally was on in the lobby. I counted 7 people watching it. 1 white guy and 6 AA’s. NO ONE was flipping the bird at the TV. ALL were watching INTENTLY.
Gives me hope.

Just saw Tucker on F&F with a panel of three blacks.
There was absolutely no talking to two of them.
They are sooo in denial.
They talked over Tucker and the other panelist who was making sense.
The facts are not on their side so they talk louder and lie.
This was not encouraging and I hope doesn’t represent the majority.
Kept saying Rep have not bothered to reach out to blacks and now that Trump is, he is pandering.
Just can not win, where do they dig these folks up?

Dozens of protesters gathered out front ahead of the event and marched around the large building. Later in the evening, a smaller contingent grew unruly. Some fundraiser attendees were pushed and jostled, spit on and verbally harassed as they left the convention center.

It must be noted that there is no homogeneous “Black Community”
Black Community is a political construct to push an agenda and to create a false unity.
In the panel you noted, 33% were for trump. It can thus be stated truthfully that by extrapolation 1/3 of the population having black skin favor Trump.
That 1/3 number spells doom for hillary

There are any number of reasons that black Americans might view Trump unfavorably, starting with his 2011 effort to cast suspicion on Obama's place of birth. Or, probably, starting with his full-page ad calling for the death penalty against five black teenagers in New York City who were accused of rape -- wrongly, as it turned out. Or perhaps thanks to the support his current candidacy is getting from people like former Ku Klux Klan grand wizard David Duke.
I grew up with clalves liver in my house. Onions and lots and lots of lemon.
My Dad would also grind up chicken livers into a wonderful pate. I make it all the time, without butter, (or at least very very little), and people who can’t stand chicken livers love it esp on a Ritz.
