ALL ALONEIt turned out that 1924 would be a great year for Irving with a lot of successful songs. This song received its first recording from the greatest belter in the business. It was a horn-based acoustic recording, and you can hear why belting was necessary. Note that it was still in the intro-and-chorus format. Thats Irving and Al in the photo.
