It is amazing how strict parents are either loved and respected for being strict or hated and sometimes murdered for it. There seems to be no middle of the road. Young girls usually hate the Mother for being strict and young boys hate the father. She or he puts pressure on the other parent to either support the spouse or the her/himself. Case history shows, like “Forensic Files,” illustrate horrible results in dysfunctional families. One case recently showed that a single mother had allowed an 18 year old boy friend move in to “rent” a room and the 14 year old winds up participating, with the boy, in the stabbing murder of her mother. YIKES!!
