I think that is a mistake. They blend in too much, and in time of trouble it makes it harder for them to recognize their own.
It makes it harder to weed out people who shouldn’t be in a detail moving the candidate if trouble should break out.
They may have been asked to do that, but it would seem wiser to refuse.
Perhaps they think the public’s ability to identify them outweighs their need to be recognizable to each other.
