Why is it bad to be Islamaphobic (afraid of Islam)?

There are people who claim to be “religious Muslims” and want “separation of mosque and state”. If true, no reason to fear them.

But Islamic Muslims, by definition, want to bring sharia law and spread Islam. Looking at 1000+ years of history, including recent/current events, the only rational action for non-Islams is to fear Islam.

We often forget "phobia" implies irrational fear since the libs use it for everything, especially fears that are NOT irrational. The trouble is we don't have a special word for "rational fear" other than "fear" or "fearing." So, I am "Islamo-fearing" and "sharia-fearing." I fear them because so many people are so blind that they are letting them get away with so much no other group can. Eventually I and those close to me might be in a situation with no way to protect ourselves from Islam and sharia.

Phobia is a fear of something as you stated. I’m not afraid of Islam. I hate it, with bold courage.
