I think the main problem was that Manafort’s connections in the former USSR were creating radio interference for Trump’s message.
Trump did what any good CEO would do. He cut short the problem. My guess is that Manafort understands this perfectly, and that he will be well taken care of.
This is CEO behavior.
The man served his mission well. Now the focus will be back on Trump's psyop ad campaign that will begin taking apart and annihilating The Brimstone Queen.
