The Los Angeles Times/USC Dornsife national tracking poll of the presidential campaign picked up a sharp uptick in African-American support for Republican nominee Donald J. Trump, which it now pegs at 14.6 percent.
When the “Daybreak” poll began July 10, Trump‘s support among black voters was 4.6 percent and he fluctuated between 5.4 percent Aug. 1 and 2.5 percent Aug. 11.
The upswing in support for Trump–more than 500 percent above his low less than a week previous–comes after the New York City developer’s address Tuesday in the Milwaukee suburb of West Bend, Wisconsin.

Something tells me that blacks aren’t going to flock to the polls to vote for an old white woman, the way they did for 0bama. If Trump can get even 10 percent of the black vote, and they revert to their previous voting pattern prior to 0bama, Clinton will definitely have a much harder time cobbling together enough votes to win, without massive fraud.
Thrilled that it’s so close but how is Trump down by 1 in this poll?

The optics of Donald in LA w/flood victims vs Otraitor on the golf course should have quite an impact .. the kind that may not be huge press but sticks in folks’ minds just the same.
I’m guessing that word of mouth goes a long way in black communities. They have to have a long history of not trusting the media. So churches and barbershops take over.

The magic words and clarifier, “without massive fraud”.
He hit this again yesterday in NC, which was a scripted speech at a rally, something he’s never done before. That speech in particular was insanely good. The media wanted a more controlled Trump.
The media should fear what they wished for.

I’m hoping Trump | Pence will actually do something in the way of flood relief. Show how they can “get things done”. Not a big money outlay but rather to organize and mobilize the help. You know, be Presidential.
