Don’t be surprised if the President springs a surprise visit today to steal Trumps thunder. It's a Catch-22 now. If he (or Cankles) shows up at this point, it will be seen as a phony gesture and a calculated reaction to Mr. Trump. If they stay away, also poor optics. Once again, DT has caught them flat-footed.
