The press throws around "1st amendment" as if it is a synonym for telling the truth. The 1st amendment protects telling the truth, sure (the Zenger case), as well as opinion of all flavor, as well as untruth. It is approximately the freedom to say whatever one wants, short of defamation and incitement to riot.************

I can't decide if the media have missed growing up in an era where speech was very important for one's rights and honor to be discussed and fought for all over our country.

Today's reporters have only witnessed a crazy big social media with political correctness in the fore front and thinking for ones self isn't really promoted but frown upon. The masses speak the same tune for lack of knowing any other tune.

The press has no honor. It is a goal oriented enterprise where the ends justify the means. It is part of a globalist movement. This is taught in poli-sci and journalism classes - one world government is inevitable, and the masses have to be misled (by their betters) into accepting it.

The template will work unless a dissenter gets power.

Permitted dissent is essential to maintain the illusions of freedom and stability. Limbaugh plays the role of permitted dissent. Notice what he doesn't talk about. That is more important than what he does talk about.
