I dont see it on Youtube. But this one is new, and funny ...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZGin4wXJP7U

The ad played on CNN this morning is on securing the border and regulating immigration - the “safety” theme.

I believe the polls are being pumped up majorly for Hitlery for two reasons:

- when the rigging of the machines gives her the win, everyone can not be surprised because the polls predicted it, and

- if Trump actually wins, they can call fraud because the results don’t match the polls.

Slimy, lying, deceitful, corrupt dems. They’ll do and say anything for power. I think The Donald is brilliant by saying he will always tell the truth. This is Hitlery’s weak spot (one of the many).

Thanks for another great thread!

IMO the polls are being rigged to set up the conflict needed for a “good story”. Think of it as a novel or movie
There must be a good chase scene or tense who done it.
The MSM is just setting up the conflict to create stories.

Ad on border just on F & F s. To the point. Maybe a better ad for Southern states Who are directly dealing with border. But what do I know. Kellyanne will know. It’s her expertise

With regard to this particular campaign, which has been saturating the news cycle for over a year, I'm just not sure how effective television ads will be. Are there really people out there at this point who will switch their vote on the basis of a 30-second television ad?

Donald Trump is sitting on a mountain of cash so I'm sure he'll run a bunch of them between now and November. If anything, to satisfy the caterwaulers out there who are hollering for them. But I'm not sure that's the best use of the campaign resources.

We saw how Jeb Bush flushed $100,000,000 down the drain on TV ads and never broke single digits. Now we are seeing the same from Crooked Hillary and despite the tens of millions of dollars expended on ads, her numbers haven't budged.

People just don't sit through television commercials anymore. It's too easy to DVR what you want to watch and FF through the commercials. Or increasingly, for a nominal monthly fee, people are streaming commercial-free content on demand through services like Netflix and Hulu.

I think much more traction will be gained on social media (bypassing the conventional media) and continuing to hold rallies - only on a larger scale.

Twitter alone has over 11,000,000 people subscribing directly to the Trump feed. That's a Rush Limbaugh sized audience. Then you have close to the same number of Trump subscribers on Facebook, Instagram, etc. There's some overlap there but I'm guessing conservatively that 25,000,000 people are available for direct feeds from the Trump campaign. With some additional focus, those numbers can grow and I'm sure there are ways to encourage people to watch Trump speeches in their entirety through live Internet feed or streamed on demand.

For instance, Trump could announce a major policy speech like the one he had in Wisconsin earlier this week and send out links for people to watch the feed live (or later on demand) over the Internet. That way they can watch the speech in it's entirety without the babbling, shouting talking heads trying to tell the rest of us what to think about it. That would bypass the conventional media and give people a chance to see Trump unfiltered.

The Trump campaign can setup a YouTube channel and give subscribers some premium content just for them. For instance, Donald could take us into the Trump plane for an exclusive Q&A between campaign events.

All of this would require infrastructure to handle the bandwidth but well worth it in my opinion.

Morning nikos and all, many thanks for the thread. Going to miss most the festivities this afternoon and over the weekend as we have out of town family visiting. Will peek in as time permits. Looks like another MD checked in on Hillary physical condition. This is being spoon fed to the public.

He'll require a feedback loop on their effect on the electorate, and if the ads don't "move the needle," then of course it is money down a rat hole, and worse, it funds the enemy, the press.

Good article, thanks for the link.

The mainstream media continues to parrot Clinton campaign talking points by insisting that a fake document falsely attributed to Bardack means the issue has been "debunked," despite no serious commentator ever citing the document as proof.

I would bet a paycheck that the document falsely attributed to Bardack was planted by team Clinton. Team Clinton is a substantial contributor to the "vast right wing conspiracy," providing material that is easily debunked. Same technique used in the Clinton death list. Fairly well informed people, close enough to the Clintons, figure the real death count is on the order of 5-10.

I had a dream early this morning that I met Trump in back of the curtain before the rally. I just walked in as there were no secret service anywhere and he was straigtening his tie. Then I straight up told him “You are going to win this thing!” I told him I had known this fact all along

Good dream.....you connected to a future universe.....try again for some stock tips

Recall when Trump gave helicopter rides to young children early in the campaign:

Small boy asks Trump:....Are you Batman?

Trump:.....Yes....I am Batman.

Good point for the youtube copy. The ad is nominally designed for teevee, wehre links are useless, but the youtube copy should have ways to like and spread.

Check out the “regret” statements at 48:30 and following.

The crowd reaction tells the story.

No apology and no more will be said.

It is now “old news”, and “it is time to move on”.

The speech was the best of Trump’s campaign.

And he has had a string of great speeches recently.

He laid out the Trump Doctrine, domestic and foreign.

-- No apology and no more will be said. --

He previously explained and justified (or sincerely regretted, as in the Heidi Cruz retweet) every issue, You are right, no more need be said. All of that crap is a distraction, and the press is all about distracting from the relevant facts and issues.

I see Trump in the process of transforming his presentation to the public, in order to cement a "this man is President Trump" image in the public's mind. President Trump is the serious, deliberate, considerate and tough negotiator. The bombast and ridicule will subside over time, and very naturally. It is vital that the people see Trump as genuine, not an image of Conway, not an image of Bannon, but Trump - let Trump be Trump.

Most of us have a public persona that differs from the private one - or a work persona that differs from the party persona, and so on. Trump in no different. He has a public persona. He's been leveraging it. The public needs to see his business persona, as he intends to apply it to the job he will hold, president of the US.

If the Dems are going to replace their horse, they have to do it by Labor Day.

Mr. Scranton is waiting in the wings, and the Obama/Jarrett team would rather have him continue the Obama legacy, than Hillary.

The next 2 weeks will be brutal for the Harridan.

Good concise ad.

Thanks for posting it.
