That’s a registered voter poll, so that puts them about even with likely voters.

With the caveat that among overall registered voters the results have a plus or minus 2.8% error band according to Pew, see page 42 of their report.

The difference of 4% is not large relative to the 5.6% width of the error band.

Also, among the registered voters, 3% more of the voters are "Democrat/Lean Dem" compared to "Republican/Lean Rep".

So if you pick a group of people where 3% more of them identify as Democrats, they prefer Hillary over Trump by 4%.

Not all registered voters will vote, and not all November voters are registered. Trump’s troops are a lot more energized and thus more likely to vote than apathetic Hillary supporters. Many are still to register who can’t wait to cast their first vote for Trump because they believe for the first time it actually matters who wins. There is no such push for new voters for Hillary.

The real reason for this bs is to get Johnson, but not Stein, in the debates.

If they try to put Johnson on the stage, that is a sure sign Hillary is desperate and scared.

Bill Mitchell said on Twitter this was a D+16 sample. I haven’t checked.

OK, so Michell was wrong. This is a pretty fair sample.

None of these poll numbers make any sense. Trump holds a rally and 10’s of thousands show up. Clinton holds a rally and she’s lucky to get a couple of hundred viewers. So, how is it that she’s ahead in the polls unless she’s paying for those polls to show in her favor???

It’s been my observation that what she lays on Trump is actually true of herself. It’s a form of projection. She’s pushing a fascist regime right along with 0bama (Alinsky style) but tries to paint Trump as a Nazi...for example.

There’s no way the polls are truthful.

What IS true of the Republicans is typified in Bush; low energy. The democrats have had a much greater influence on national policy ..mostly negative, than the Republicans have energy enough to even dream of.

The Republicans really need to get off their dead asses and act like they really are a legitimate party. So far, they fail dismally which makes Trump look like something really special.

It’s really sad and disgusting to see what’s happening politically these days, in fact, down right inexcusable.

The repubs are definitely NOT the power party, and they could be if they put some effort behind it.

In other words, about the same spread as the last election.

Pubbies want to win and stay in power. They are under the (false) assumption that if they toe the line and go along to get along, they will have a piece of the pie.

They tried that in CA, and got their asses handed to them by the complicit state unions and media.

On a national scale, the pubbies keep thinking they just need to be friends with the media and will get to share the power and remain in their seats.

Well, they got the last part right, but they have absolutely no say, witness what is going on around us.

Trump is a phenomena not because he is speaking Chinese or martian, but because he reflects what is on the mind of a great swath of this country.

Something that other pubbie public seat holders should take note of....if they want to have a say in future directions this country takes.

Trump ads start in days in swing states, lets see the reaction to these first paid ads since his primary.

Next, I remember believing that the polls said Romney was ahead, WRONG.

Debates do matter, if fair this time Trump will cream her.
Hellary is no Cruz or Rubio both very good debaters. Trump beat both.

Trump is going after the AA and Womens vote. Kellyanne will help him win over women some more.

If the Evangelicals can’t stand Hellary they will come out to vote for honest DJT. He may not away be polite or PC but he isn’t a liar like her.

More is going to come out on her health and its not good.
And I think its to late to give it to Biden.

I think Trumps speeches this week were vastly improved.
I see his negatives evaporating.

Polls look very good for Trump

LA Times

Rassmussen

Zogby
http://zogbyanalytics.com/news/756-clinton-and-trump-in-statistical-tie-trump-has-closed-the-gap-among-older-millennials

A statistical dead heat. Trump hasn’t spent a penny on Ads.
Also, many Trump voters won’t talk to pollsters, and polls showing big Hellary leads are way over sampled bias for Dems.

Also, stories say AA are surging for Trump.

If these are registered voters and she only has 41%, then she’s not doing so good.
